We have one application for all services provided by SFPHA.

Yes, if you need assistance any staff member can assist you.

Rehab/New Housing assistance applications need to be updated when there’s a change in household i.e. income, add/remove household members. You will need to re-certify your application annually to keep your spot on the waiting list. Recert packets are mailed out around February/March each new year.
Deadline for both New Housing/Rehab are always in November and Re-certification deadline is always in July of each year.
You will be put onto a waiting list the year you apply along with other applicants.
No, SFPHA is not allowed to use funds for additions. We can only work on existing homes.
You must have a title with no liens in order to apply for assistance.
You will need to notify SFPHA to get an approval for any additions/remodifications to homes prior to starting.
Currently, we do not have in-house financing however we can refer you to lending agencies to obtain a Section 184 Mortgage Loan for home additions and or new construction.
Forms of payment accepted: Debit/Credit card, ACH, Payroll deductions for Tribal/Casino/Travel Center employees, Money Orders, Cashier’s checks and Cash. SFPHA does not accept personal checks.
Call 811 before digging, most homes have underground power/natural gas.
Filters need to be changed out at least 3 times a year (Spring/Summer/Fall) or more if you have pets in the home for both furnace and return air vents. This will help maintain good indoor air quality to ensure efficient HVAC system
You as the homeowner will need to drain/maintain your water heater at least once a year for hard water build up. For instructions you can call SFPHA.
